Summary of position
This position will be responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce or involving data migrations, systems integrations and 3rd party applications. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Business Analyst to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Lightning Components, Flows and other technologies to build customized solutions. Coding using Salesforce best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
- Developing Lightning Community
- Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code
Skills Required
- Experience writing SOQL, Apex classes and triggers, Aura Lightning Components and Lightning Web Components
- Experience in Flows, Process Builders
- Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System
- Experience in developing Lightning Community
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
- Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
- 4+ years previous development experience in Salesforce
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, SOQL

CloudWave is seeking a motivated and self-starting Senior Salesforce Developer as part of our Salesforce practice. The successful candidate will need to have hands-on expert design/implementation/configuration/development experience in Salesforce.
The Senior Salesforce Developer will be involved in the full development life-cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment and engage and facilitate discussions with other Salesforce experts. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be expected to work with internal and external project teams to gather requirements, configure and extend the Salesforce application based on business needs with robust systems and testing documentation, within an agile environment. Candidates should have development experience with the Salesforce platform and be able to leverage the Salesforce provided Application Programming Interface. Job Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on technical Salesforce development and implementations, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform
- Work with business users to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Salesforce platform
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, and perform peer code reviews. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middle-ware tools) and complex data migrations
- Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment, often working with other members of the team
- Implement, deploy and document projects that leverage the Salesforce.com toolset
- Post-delivery: work with client teams in supporting the live application and perform hand-off and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in I.T. or other related field with 12+ years of related experience (with 6 years of Sr.Salesforce Developer experience)
- Certifications Required: Salesforce Developer Certifications
- Experience with Salesforce platform programming languages - Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component, Lightning Community framework
- Web application development including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
- Lightning Component development experience
- Lightning Design System framework
- Declarative Force.com development tools such as Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc
- Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices
- Be comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government public trust security clearance
- Must have lived in US for a minimum of 3 years
- This is full-time position, no C2C
